Architectural Collaboration Not Eventuated

In 2007, as studiometrico, I started to work on a project for an art gallery in London. After more than one year of work the project was eventually aborted, but you can read the full story on a post entitled ‘Gone with The Crisis’ that I published in 2009 here.
At that time I mentioned the dodgy behaviour of some British local architects that I had involved in the project, but decided not to reveal their identity. I am very glad to be able to announce now that Gort Scott Architects – now their name is of public domain – have been so generous to sustain all the workload (including our own) through these years without bothering us with all those endless technical phone calls… With great dedication they managed not only to develop further the project, but also to respect our original design and to re-adapt it to a new function: the first London based commercial space for the Swedish brand Acne (check it out here).
Well… it has been terrific ‘not to collaborate’ with these guys. With a fairly limited effort we have now a brand new project to get credits for!
